At the beginning we presented the peculiar elements of a death metal band also influenced by grind and black metal. Over the year, the simple fact of being affected in a positive way from the world wide music tendencies, which continually develops, and the wiliness of personalizing our music path besides the need of new solutions and cues, carried out the idea of mixing different music materials without being worried to guarantee any kind of continuity (which may be offered only by the use of the voice). This way of composing music has brought a revisiting of the standard models on which laid our music even with the insertion of rock and electronic elements. These elements in their entirety have inspired a diversification between our compositions and also between songs.
In 2000 the band was looking for a different name, that was no more symbolized by letters but linked to an image, therefore a name that cannot be pronounced but only visualized; this idea was acted throughout the collaboration with Stefano Ricci, a illustrator from Bologna.

For the first three demos we may say in general that are death metal with influence. The differences that we can highlight are the follows: inside decadenza we used synths and keyboards in a conventional way and the structure of the songs was not "clean", inside r.a.m instead we were able to refine the combinations between the guitars, and we started to explore, in a concret way, the chances offered by the electronic elements in order to make it an important element equal to the other used. Regarding cerebrale scarlatta we have to point out the follows: in that period we did not have a drummer and without a guitar. In that conditions we need to modify our approach expecially because we opted for the use of a drum-machine that able us to play without limitations. Beside the songs were made up between the combinations of guitar and synth instead of combinations of two guitars. In this way the electronic elements had a more important weight. This last one certaintly is our more complex job. We changed totally the guitar sound and we eliminate many unuseful elements. For us the entire result is a more balanced than the other With our last promo ISTERESI we tried to be less complex regarding the songwriting and more rock in the general mood.

Our texts do not follow a login patterns intended as a necessary element, but those texts are written d'istinto and with improvvisation. Just after that process, sometimes, we think and reflect to what do they mean, and how they can be interpreted taking into account who is the listener and his /her feeling. We use both italian and english but we prefer the former because is our mother tounge and it has the potential that english do not offer.

after Decadenza (Demo '98), we wanted to play in a different way throughout the insert of bizzare electronic sounds and a better mixture of the single parts. we had found a new drummer and finally we had all the elements to produce something different from what we had done before; at the same time our moniker was no longer efficient and it not mach with the new songs. That's why we decided to change it, and from that necessity was born the idea to adopte an immage that cannot be pronounced. A simbol able to give a hard impact and at the same time able to advice the listener that he was listening something not ordinary. This symbol in a certain way can move the attention from the texts to the music.

We are influenced by: uzeda, neurosis, meshuggah, fennez, tool, don caballero,shellac, suffocation, isis, nasum, godspeedyoublackemperor, cannibal corpse, ulan bator, pansonic, DHG, laddio bolocko, thorns, steve coleman, einsturzende neubauten, information, brutal truth and much more.

After the radical change, the band has published:

- WHEN LIQUIDS STAY DRY . Debut Album (2007)

in 2005 we started a collaboration with a management and booking agency (ALKEMIST-FANATIX EUROPE) whose owner is Carlo Bellotti (also leader of GF93).
He (and the whole agency) helped the band to find a good label to release the debut album and in 2007 the target was reached; Illogo signed for UK DIVISION RECORDS and released its first album called "WHEN LIQUIDS STAY DRY" distributed worldwide by PLASTIC HEAD.
"ILLOGO" is the way we appeal the image representing our name, but is also the easiest way to keep in touch with us.
